The PSCH Mission

PSCH is a comprehensive human service agency whose mission is to empower individuals and families with diverse needs to realize their full potential for achieving meaningful goals, guided by principles of independence, wellness, safety and recovery.

A Comprehensive Range of Programs and Services

One of the region's leading providers of comprehensive services for people with developmental, psychological and behavioral disabilities, PSCH serves more than 8,500 individuals and their families and caregivers in NYC’s five boroughs, Long Island and Westchester, and now in several communities in New Jersey. We offer a comprehensive range of programs and services including day treatment, residential, therapeutic, rehabilitation, educational, vocational and social services.

A 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit Agency

PSCH is dedicated to helping people develop and strengthen the skills and behaviors they need to live productive, independent lives and integrate with their chosen communities.

Multidisciplinary Approach

Since 1980 PSCH has been meeting the growing challenges of developmental disabilities, mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse behaviors. Our multidisciplinary approach and centralized referral process help to insure that each person who comes under our care receives the appropriate range of services and level of care, with an individual treatment plan coordinated by highly competent and caring case management professionals.

Community Partnership

PSCH is an active partner in scores of relationships with business, government, community groups and professional organizations.
